Zen Completes Hydrogen Feasibility Study for Newfoundland & Labrador

Zen is proud to announce the completion of a Feasibility Study of Hydrogen Production, Storage, Distribution, and Use in Newfoundland & Labrador. The study explores how a growing hydrogen sector could support the region’s broad energy policy objectives related to climate change, lead to inclusive economic development, and promote sustainable development of energy resources. The report is an extension of the previously completed Feasibility Study of Hydrogen in the Maritimes and shows how Newfoundland and Labrador could leverage its clean electricity to provide low carbon hydrogen for the whole of Atlantic Canada and beyond.

The study was commissioned by the Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA) in  partnership  with Natural Resources Canada. Zen completed the study with support from Dunsky Energy Consulting, Redrock Power Systems, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association.
